Grown on the Indonesian island of Sumatra, Mandheling is known for its smooth, full body and its rich, complex taste that includes tones of chocolate and licorice. This coffee presents an intensely earthy and herbal aroma and offers just enough acidity to add a touch of vibrancy.
ABOUT THE ROAST LEVEL
CITY + ROAST is a slightly darker roast than medium roast and features a richer brown color and heavier flavor. There will be no oil on the surface of the beans because they haven’t been roasted long enough for the oils to break through the bean surface.
