Uganda produces excellent arabica coffees, and Bugisu with its volcanic soils and high elevations yields a dense hard bean. This City + roast offers hints of raisin and black pepper with a nice clean finish.
ABOUT THE ROAST LEVEL
CITY + ROAST is a slightly darker roast than medium roast and features a richer brown color and heavier flavor. There will be no oil on the surface of the beans because they haven’t been roasted long enough for the oils to break through the bean surface.
